Panchase Hill Trekking in Nepal

Panchase Trek starting at the southwest of Pokhara is a relatively new yet very popular trekking destination in Nepal. This is an ideal trip with fewer trekkers on the trail making the trip easier and less hectic. The short trekking is suitable for every people regardless their age. This trek lies on the west of Pokhara city and is bordered by Kaski on the east, Parbat on the west and Syangja on the south. Also a place with religious significance for Hindu pilgrims where people come over to pay respect to the departed soul of their ancestors and worship the mountain Gods, Panchase hill trekking gives you a roundabout tour of the beautiful Pokhara valley as a whole; an opportunity to delight into the wonderful journey of the natural Nepal along giving you an insight into the religious practices of Nepal along with the intermixing of the ethnic diversity.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Day

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will be there to receive you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is for you to rest and recover yourself from jetlag.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Early morning drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Drive for about 6 hours along the Prithvi Highway where you encounter beautiful villages and natural sceneries with picturesque landscapes. As Pokhara city welcomes you with its breathtaking beauty, you will be escorted to your hotel by our representative. Pokhara is one of the major tourist destinations that is famous for its majestic natural beauty and the mesmerizing views of some of the highest peaks of the world.

Day 3: Pokhara to Bhumdi

We sail across the Fewa lake for about 25 minutes and climb the stone steps uphill along the forest to reach the top of the World Peace Pagoda. We move forward from World Peace Pagoda through the valley surrounded with dense forests and the terraced farmland. Continue along the jeep track until you reach Bhumdi, a small Gurung village beautifully decorated with stone roofed houses. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Ganesh Himal, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu and Annapurna range standing atop the village.

Day 4: Bhumdi to Panchase Bhanjyang

Today, we continue our trek from Bhumdi to Panchase Bhanjyang. Ascend through the trails of the forest. You can enjoy the magnificent Himalayan ranges and its captivating beauty on any clear day if the weather is favorable. After about three hours, continue along the easy trails through the forest enjoying the chirping of the birds and the wild vegetation. Ascend the trails thereafter to Panchase Bhanjyang for about two hours once again taking in the beauty of the Himalayan ranges including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre. The panoramic view of the calm Fewa lake surrounded by the buzzing Pokhara valley is just mesmerizing.

Day 5: Panchase Banjyang to Bhadaure

As we leave Panchase Bhanjyang today, we take the steep uphill climb to Panchase temple for about an hour with the magnificent mountain ranges of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre on the backdrop. Descend gradually towards from the temple crossing the multicolored rhododendron forests to the Panchase Lake, a sacred and spiritual. Make a right divergence and then a little combined uphill and downhill until you reach the village of Bhadaure, a small settlement of the Gurung community.

Day 6: Bhadaure to Pokhara

Take a small tour of the village before you bid farewell to Bhadaure. It takes a downhill hike of about 15 minutes past the Gurung village to reach the off road trails from where we will continue walking for another one hour. Thereupon, take a gradual descend following the jeep track to Naudaada. Drive back to Pokhara from Naudaada.

Day 7: Sightseeing Pokhara and back to Kathmandu

Hike uphill to Sarangkot for an early morning sunrise view. A quick city touring Pokhara and exploring some of the major tourist destinations including Mahendra Gufa, Chamera Gufa, Davis Falls, Fewa Lake, Taal Barahai Mandir before we pack our bags and leave for Kathmandu. Board a domestic flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 8: Sightseeing Kathmandu

Today, we take a quick roundabout tour of Kathmandu. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Like culturally rich Bhaktapur and Patan, another world heritage site, Kathmandu Durbar Square has a lot to offer in terms of tradition and heritage from the ancient times. Hanuman Dhoka and Kumari Ghar are some of the prominent features of this site. Explore a bit of Thamel and Basantapur.

Day 9: Departure Day

Visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath early in the morning and then head off to Swyambhunath famously known as The Monkey Temple. Since this is the last day, we leave this day all to yourself for you to take a quick stroll around and buy some souvenirs if you would like before we head off to the airport for your forward destination.
